1. S-velocity 3D model of the South America

The 3-D S-wave velocity model for the upper mantle beneath South America (SA2007-S) is inverted simultaneously from regional S and Rayleigh waveforms and fundamental mode Rayleigh wave group velocities [Feng et al., 2007]. The model can be downloaded at:

Two horizontal slices in Fig. 1 (below) are the same as Figure 10 of Feng et al. [2007].
